Here are three ideas that I recently saw on Houzz that are a great way to easily create outdoor furniture on a budget.
- Rig up a dining table: Get a pair of sturdy sawhorses and top them with a door slab. Either paint all the pieces or just cover with a tablecoth.
- Create a bench: Take some salvaged wood pallets to build an outdoor bench, love seat or daybed. You can paint them first or just top them with thick cushions and toss pillows.
- Create a conversation area: If you have cut down a tree lately, you can cut the trunk into four solid, equal length sections to make a sturdy table base. Then, just place a smaller wooden door or scrap-wood slab on top, no nailing required to create an outdoor coffee table.
