The market continues to change. There are still people hoping for bidding wars out there, pricing for one and then not getting the offers they expect. Even though the BOC lowered its rate by .25%, buyers have not ‘flooded’ the market. TRREB’s (Toronto Regional Real Estate Board) June stats for Mississauga shows that while more homes sold in June this year versus last year, the average sale price is down almost 30% year over year and there’s a big increase in active listings (so way more choice for buyers) and average days on market is up 40%. The numbers are similar throughout the GTA.
